Night Warehouse Order Selector - (Part Time)

Company Overview: Graves Foods is a 75-year-old wholesale foodservice distribution company located throughout the Midwest. Graves delivers quality foodservice products to nursing homes, schools, restaurants, and other foodservice providers throughout the Midwest. We are looking for warehouse workers for our Jefferson City location. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing company. This integral position within the organization is responsible for safely and efficiently pulling customer orders from throughout the facility. 

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

An Order Selector at Graves Foods plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders in a warehouse environment. This position involves selecting, packing, and shipping products to meet customer orders and maintain inventory levels. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Selecting and handling product and palletizing it neatly on pallets
• Identifies items for selection and ensures that once the order is complete and accurate using voice picking system
• Operate an electric, double pallet jack safely and efficiently to transport product
• Maintaining safety and productivity benchmarks is a minimum requirement of the job
• Maintain workspace and equipment in an organized and neat fashion
• Regular, timely attendance as defined by the attendance policy, is a minimum requirement of the job.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Experience: 
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training is often provided.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift and other warehouse technical equipment preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements
  • Ability to listen, understand and respond to instruction
  • Operate within Standard Operating Procedure and follow OSHA guidelines.
  • High-level of accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Voice picking experience preferred.
• Screening: Must pass a drug screen and background check.

SCHEDULE: Sunday- Thursday 5pm-12am + overtime as needed. 

COMPENSATION: Starting at - $17.20/hr- $21.00/hr
