What you'll do:

• Monitor NBA and WNBA news, lineups, and storylines while creating social media posts from @UnderdogNBA and @UnderdogWNBA on Twitter/X
• Generate ideas for “evergreen” content based on research and knowledge of existing storylines and history
• Find creative ways to integrate Underdog’s product, odds, and markets into engaging social media posts
• Help the team manage back-end administrative systems and organizational tools

Who you are:

• Terminally online
• Ball knower
• Creative and articulate, able to package trending moments in formats that people relate to and enjoy reading
• A little unhinged about basketball

Bonus points if you have:

• Documented experience growing a social media channel or turning around news content with an emphasis on speed and accuracy
• Knowledge of NFL, MLB, golf, college football – any other sports to help the team across channels

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $72,000 and $80,000, plus target equity. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, skills and expertise, interview performance, and other market considerations.
