Neurophysiology Technologist III

Position Summary

***$7,500 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates***

Under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director for Neurophysiology and the overall supervision of the Neurophysiology Supervisor, the Neurophysiology Technologist performs neurodiagnostic studies, with the knowledge and ability to collect, assess, interpret and intervene as appropriate in care of pediatric, adult, geriatric, and critical care patients. This position requires a deep understanding of neurophysiology, technical proficiency with EEG equipment, and strong patient care skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Neurodiagnostics or related allied health field is required.
• R.EEG T. or R.PSG T. may substitute for required education 
• R.EEG T. or CLTM Preferred
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Neurodiagnostics is required.
• Experience in a hospital setting, critical care preferred

Clinical Ladder Other Information

• Primary Shift: Day
• 3, 12-hour shifts; 7:00am - 7:00pm each week with a weekend rotation
• Weekend rotating is estimated to be once every 6 weeks 
• On Call: No 
• Weekends: Rotating
• IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Neurophysiology Technologist III, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Neurophysiology Technologist I, II, III or IV.
