BDR is seeking a .NET Developer to join our growing team! This position will be performed virtually from the individual's home office working on EST time schedule. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be able to work in a diverse SAFe/Agile, .Net, environment with minimal supervision and constantly changing requirements. This position, and the candidate will be expected to provide team and technical leadership, communications, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
• Maintain responsibility for activities that range from software design, coding, unit testing, and orchestration.
• Participate as an active member of the scrum team, providing input to team velocity and sprint ceremonies, planning, demonstrations and retrospectives

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or other related discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Demonstrated experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions, including X12 transaction sets (required), XML, JSON, and HL7 message formats
• Strong working knowledge of ANSI X12 standards, mappings, validation, and troubleshooting of EDI transactions
• Experience using Tibco Validator (Foresight) for EDI validation, compliance testing, and transaction processing
• Experience developing and maintaining .NET Console Applications and integration services
• Experience in development of secure applications using the .NET Framework (4.x)
• Experience in C#, WebForms, MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework
• Experience with web service and API development using SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, and CSS
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented design concepts, principles, and patterns
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Must be able to acquire a Public Trust security clearance
• Applicant must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience designing, supporting, or integrating healthcare or enterprise EDI solutions
• Additional experience with HL7 interfaces, data transformations, and system-to-system integrations
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, and OWASP security practices
• Experience with GitHub or Git
• Experience creating and maintaining SQL tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Experience with SSDT and SSRS
• Experience with .NET Core / .NET
• Experience in SAFe Agile environments

The salary compensation range for this position is $65,000-$80,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
