Job Summary

The NAVS Vertical Sales Support & Operations Specialist plays a critical role in driving the growth of the National Account and Vertical Solution sales by supporting operational execution, opportunity creation, and  customer engagement. This position serves as a central coordinator across end users, direct sellers, agents, contractors, distributors, and internal teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience and drive revenue generating initiatives.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

•    Support the growth and expansion of the National Account and Vertical Solutions team through strategic sales and customer support initiatives.
•    Coordinate pre- and post-sales activities across sales, design, quotations, project management, operations, and customer support teams while creating processes that are scalable and repeatable.
•    Serve as a liaison between direct sellers, agents, contractors, and customers to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.
•    Create and maintain channel and vertical reporting content and cadence.
•    Identify and implement process improvements that streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve execution efficiency.
•    Support customer outreach, prospecting, and demand-generation campaigns to increase market awareness and drive new opportunities.
•    Drive accountability and follow-up on key opportunities, actions, and customer commitments.
•    Assist in managing and advancing the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are actively tracked, updated, and progressing through the funnel. Utilize lead gen tools (such as Dodge) to generate and distribute qualified leads to sales team.
•    Contribute to the development of best practices, training resources, and operational tools that support long-term business growth.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

•    Associate's degree or Technical Degree or equivalent 3 to 5 years Commercial lighting/Electrical distributor/General Contractor industry experience 
•    Excellent communication and organizational skills 
•    Computer skills - proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and technical amplitude to learn new software tools 
•    Technical aptitude to continuously learn and use lighting systems product and services knowledge 
•    Ability to work both independently and as a team player who can contribute to an inclusive environment 
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills - able to identify critical situations and use good judgment to respond in a timely manner 
•    Consults appropriate stakeholders before making critical decisions 
•    Customer-focus and assertiveness in driving actions required to create a superior service experience for the customer. 

Ideal Candidate

A highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused professional who excels at coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing complex processes, driving accountability, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences while supporting the continued growth of the NAVS Team. Comfortable making independent judgements on product and design selection, autonomy in assessing application and generating BOM and quote and translating customer needs to engineering, product and design teams. Candidate should have technical aptitude, multitasking ability and excellent communication skills.

Travel Requirements

• 1-20%

The range for this position is $68,600.00 to $98,000 USD. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
