Job Description
We’re currently hiring a National Account Manager focused on Frankston Cartons and Design, one of our two core business units.
About the Role
This role is designed for a strategic, relationship-driven seller who enjoys solving complex packaging challenges and managing meaningful customer relationships.
You’ll focus on:
Folding cartons
Tray forming and unique containers
Structural and graphic packaging design
RFID-enabled packaging solutions that enhance traceability and retail performance
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and secure new business opportunities within the folding carton market
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts
- Develop a thorough understanding of customers' packaging needs and recommend appropriate folding carton solutions
- Collaborate with estimating, customer service, and production teams to ensure accurate quoting and on-time delivery
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and sample materials to prospective and current clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and customer interactions in the company's CRM
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and revenue goals
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and visit production facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in folding cartons, packaging, printing, or a related manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of packaging production processes, including print, die-cutting, and finishing operations, is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet revenue targets
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
