As an Enumerator Coach, you will lead and support a team of up to 20 Enumerators, helping them confidently complete agricultural surveys with accuracy, professionalism, and consistency. Your guidance will play an important role in ensuring farmers, ranchers, rural communities, and agricultural leaders have access to reliable information they can trust.

About the Role

As an Enumerator Coach, you will serve as a key resource for Enumerators throughout the data-collection process. Reporting to an assigned NASDA Manager, you will provide coaching, quality control, technical assistance, and ongoing training to a team of up to 20 Enumerators.

You'll help your team stay on track, answer questions, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure surveys are completed accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review completed survey forms, questionnaires, and related materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Coach, support, and provide ongoing training to Enumerators throughout data collection.
• Serve as a resource for Enumerators by answering technical and procedural questions.
• Help identify and resolve problems using sound judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Communicate regularly with the NASDA Enumerator Manager and assigned Enumerators.
• Complete surveys as needed while effectively managing your own workload and team responsibilities.
• Monitor data-collection progress and support quality-control efforts.
• Prepare and present training sessions for groups of 40+ Enumerators on a quarterly basis.
• Help create a positive, professional, and productive experience for the Enumerators you support.

What We're Looking For

You don't have to be an agricultural expert to succeed in this position. We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, confident communicating with others, and genuinely interested in helping people succeed.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has a high school diploma plus one year of college or relevant work experience.
• Has experience with data collection.
• Thinks critically and can make sound decisions independently.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Is comfortable speaking to and training groups.
• Builds positive relationships easily and enjoys working with people.
• Can coach and encourage others while holding them accountable to quality standards.
• Is self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Is comfortable learning and using new technology.
• Has an interest in agriculture, rural communities, or serving agricultural producers.

Additional Requirements

• Availability to work approximately 20–30 hours per week. Occasional weekend work may be required.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel intermittently throughout the year.
• Ability to walk unassisted for up to 100 yards.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to attend quarterly in-person training, which may require travel of up to 350 miles.
• Ability to prepare and deliver training to groups of 40 or more Enumerators.
• A private home-office area suitable for completing work responsibilities.
• Ability to operate and navigate an iPad, use email, and learn new technology and job-related processes.

Preferred Experience

The following experience is a plus:

• Agricultural knowledge or experience.
• Sales or customer-service experience.
• Coaching, training, mentoring, or supervisory experience.
• Experience working with farmers, ranchers, agricultural producers, or rural communities.
