Job Description
Dream Nannies is seeking an experienced, dependable, and proactive nanny/family assistant to support a busy family. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing exceptional childcare with household management and takes pride in creating a calm, organized, and well-functioning home. The ideal candidate is nurturing, energetic, highly organized, and able to confidently manage multiple responsibilities while anticipating the family's needs. They should be a self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to become a long-term, trusted member of the family.
Responsibilities include providing attentive, engaging care for children, transporting them to and from school and activities, planning age-appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals, and assisting with daily routines. In addition to childcare, the nanny/family assistant will help keep the household running smoothly by managing children's laundry, maintaining organization throughout the home, completing light housekeeping related to the children, grocery shopping, meal planning, errands, household inventory, scheduling appointments, coordinating vendors and household projects, and assisting with family events as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, takes initiative without being asked, and genuinely enjoys supporting both the children and the overall operation of the household.
