JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The University Libraries-Music and Media Center in Pattee Library seeks motivated and responsible individuals to work at our public service desk.

• Provide in-person reference assistance for music and film.
• Circulation of Music and Media Center items,
• Shelving of CDs, DVDs, LPs, VHS, and other items.
• Maintenance of collection.
• General library and technology support.
• Close service desk.

Applicants should have strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.  A background in music or film, or previous library experience, is preferred.

Must be available to work two or more 1 - 6pm shifts Monday - Friday, $15/hour.

Music and Media Center Hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday-Friday. Positions will be 12 - 24 hours per week depending on availability.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
