Job Title: Car Wash Technician (Night/Closing Shift)
Location: Lindon Car Wash – Murdock Hyundai
Hours: Part-Time (30–35 hours/week)
Schedule: Evening/Night shift, with weekend availability preferred
About the Role:
Murdock Hyundai is seeking a reliable and attentive Car Wash Technician to join our team at our Lindon location. This position focuses on operating and overseeing our automatic car wash during the night/closing shift, ensuring customers have a smooth, safe, and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide customers safely into the automatic car wash system
- Operate and monitor car wash equipment to ensure proper function
- Provide clear instructions and friendly customer service
- Perform light pre-wash prep (e.g., rinsing or prepping vehicles if needed)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car wash area
- Assist with nightly closing duties to prepare the facility for the next day
- Identify and report any equipment issues or safety concerns
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Ability to stay attentive and safety-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions
