Multi-Instrumentalist Music Instructor – Part-Time
Are you the musician who can teach more than one instrument—and loves helping other musicians develop?
Bach to Rock Music School in Lincoln is growing, and we are especially interested in versatile Multi-Instrumentalist Music Instructors who can teach two or more instruments.
We are looking for musicians who can teach combinations of guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano, voice, strings, brass, woodwinds, or other instruments.
Bach to Rock is a contemporary, performance-based music school where students develop individual skills and have opportunities to make music with others.
What You’ll Do
- Teach private and semi-private lessons in two or more instruments
- Work with students ranging from beginners to more experienced musicians
- Build technique, musicianship, confidence, and performance skills
- Help students learn music that motivates them while developing strong fundamentals
- Potentially work with bands, ensembles, camps, or other Bach to Rock programs based on your skills and interests
- Prepare students for performances and other school opportunities
- Create an engaging, encouraging, and professional learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in two or more instruments
- Strong overall musicianship
- Teaching experience preferred, but we are also interested in excellent musicians with the personality and communication skills to become great teachers
- Ability to connect with children, teens, and adults
- Versatility across musical styles is highly valued
- Dependable, energetic, positive, and professional
- A music degree or current music study is a plus, but not required
- Evening and/or Saturday availability is especially valuable
