MuleSoft Senior Developer

Overview

TSGi is seeking a MuleSoft Senior Developer to support a large-scale federal travel and expense modernization initiative that enables secure, seamless integration across travel, financial, and enterprise business systems. This role will design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integrations that support mission-critical operations and improve the user experience for federal employees and agencies.

Candidates local to Herndon, VA are preferred and will be expected to work onsite four (4) days per week. Fully remote candidates will also be considered; however, West Coast candidates will not be considered.

Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions and REST APIs.
• Build and support integrations between SAP Concur and enterprise applications.
• Create technical designs, interface specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure adherence to MuleSoft standards, API governance, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 certification required.
• Experience integrating SAP Concur with enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of Mule ESB, REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SOA.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and API lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with Java, middleware integration, and relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS cloud services, including CloudWatch, Amazon SQS, Amazon S3, and DynamoDB.
• Experience administering and monitoring the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Compensation:

• W2 Hourly rate starts at $75. Pay rates are based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications, and are subject to change at any time.
