MRI/CT/X-ray Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Trophy Club:

·       Under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.

·       Assists radiologist and specialized physicians with interventional procedures performed within the department and OR.

·       Practices proper aseptic technique within the sterile field.

·       Operates Radiology equipment safely and practices proper radiation safety techniques at all times, prints films and processes images via PACS and CR.

·       Must be proficient in performing routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-Rays and Fluoroscopy.

·       Must be proficient with routine portable exams and the safe operation of C-Arm equipment within the Operating room.

·       Requires flexible schedule and ability to take department call after hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Education:

·       High school graduate or equivalent

·       Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART)

Licensure/Certification:             

·       Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

·       Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License

·       Current BLS certification                                  

Required Experience:

·       Two to five years' experience specific in Routine imaging and operating room
