Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable, hardworking Mover to join the Ross Moving team. You will travel to different locations each day, safely wrap, protect, load, transport, and unload customers’ belongings. This is a fast-paced, physical position that requires professionalism, urgency, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Properly wrap and protect furniture before moving
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and equipment
- Organize and secure loads to help prevent damage during transportation
- Follow crew lead instructions and Ross Moving procedures
- Keep trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized
- Place items in designated rooms at the customer’s direction
- Maintain a professional attitude around customers and their property
- Work efficiently as part of a team throughout the entire move
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Works well in a fast-paced team environment
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry heavy furniture and equipment
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to follow directions and company procedures
- Must maintain professional behavior while on customer property
