Mortgage Loan Officer Recruiter

A leading Long Island-based mortgage bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer Recruiter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruiting professional who understands the mortgage industry and has a proven track record of attracting top-producing Loan Officers and Retail/P&L Branch Teams.
 
Working directly with our CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving company growth by identifying, engaging, and recruiting high-performing sales professionals who generate their own business. What You'll Do
 

As our in-house recruiter, you will lead the full recruitment lifecycle and serve as a strategic partner in achieving our growth goals.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CEO to recruit top-producing Mortgage Loan Officers and Branch Teams.
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies designed to meet annual hiring objectives.
• Proactively source candidates through:
  • Cold calling and networking
  • Industry referrals and personal contacts
  • LinkedIn, Facebook, and other professional platforms
  • Internet and market research
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of mortgage sales talent.
• Manage and maintain our recruiter CRM, ensuring accurate candidate tracking and reporting.
• Create and post compelling job advertisements across multiple channels.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
• Coordinate interviews and communication throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with prospective candidates, even when opportunities are not immediately available.
• Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and professional new-hire experience.
• Occasionally travel to maximize recruiting opportunities and industry networking efforts.

While you'll have autonomy in your role, collaboration is vital. You'll keep colleagues updated on candidate progress while immersing yourself in our organization, understanding our originator packages, and championing our employee benefits. Developing a deep understanding of various roles within our company is crucial.

Experience with professional social media networks like LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as CRM candidate systems, is essential. Bonus points if you can create engaging video content.

• Minimum of 2+ years of mortgage recruiting, financial services recruiting, or sales recruiting experience.
• Experience sourcing and recruiting commissioned sales professionals
• Experience recruiting Mortgage Loan Officers preferred

COMPENSATION:

• $24-$26 an hour based on experience.
• Performance based bonus opportunities if criteria are met.
• Part-time, M-F, in office, 25-30 hours a week.
