About the Role:Bright Horizon Care LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Mitigation Lead Technician to join our growing team in Huntington Beach, CA. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise mitigation crews on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation job sites
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and containment setup
- Monitor and document drying progress using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and drying equipment
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols
- Communicate job status updates to project managers and clients professionally
- Train and mentor junior technicians on mitigation best practices and equipment use
- Maintain, inspect, and transport mitigation equipment and company vehicles
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation/restoration
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred
- Proven ability to lead a crew and manage job site operations independently
- Proficiency with drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and moisture detection tools
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
- Availability for on-call and emergency response shifts as needed
