Overview
Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment in all areas of the plant.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment that has failed.
- Maintain equipment to insure a trouble-free operation.
- Perform repairs in a quick and safe manner.
- Report any unusual machine action or noise.
- Complete equipment preventive maintenance activities to maximize plant up time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude & basic electrical knowledge
- Welding skills
- Ability to read technical writing and schematics
- Math skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles
- Experience in alignment and power transmission
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Fire and chemical hazard knowledge
- Experience working on high bay overhead crane
