Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Senior Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Senior Project Manager based in United States.

This role leads the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and related projects from planning through completion.
You will balance scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and quality while keeping customer goals and satisfaction at the center of delivery.
Working closely with clients, Solution Architects, and project teams, you will translate business needs into structured plans and actionable priorities.
The position combines hands-on project management with client engagement, reporting, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
You will oversee complex project activities including scheduling, resource planning, backlog management, forecasting, and proposal development.
The role also provides an opportunity to mentor other Project Managers and contribute to stronger delivery methodologies and best practices.
This is a fully remote position suited to an experienced project leader with strong Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise and a strategic, customer-focused approach.

Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and related projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Work with clients to understand their available resources, capabilities, constraints, and business objectives when developing project plans.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, milestones, deadlines, and resource requirements in alignment with client priorities.
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans according to established project management processes.
• Coordinate closely with Solution Architects to ensure project teams are aligned with plans, priorities, and communicated deadlines.
• Monitor project budgets, hours, forecasts, resource allocations, and overall delivery performance, making adjustments when required.
• Organize and facilitate project committee meetings, client meetings, status reviews, and other delivery activities.
• Approve project time for payroll processing and maintain accurate project records and reporting.
• Manage large-scale project activities including scheduling, resourcing, backlog management, and proposal development.
• Provide timely project updates and follow up with clients on outstanding actions, questions, and deliverables.
• Identify, manage, and escalate project issues while maintaining empathy, professionalism, and strong interpersonal relationships.
• Maintain accurate reporting on budgets, forecasts, resources, and other project performance indicators.
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships through responsive communication and thoughtful follow-up.
• Gather and communicate client feedback and identify opportunities to improve delivery practices and customer outcomes.
• Contribute to project process improvement initiatives by sharing feedback, recommending best practices, and supporting implementation of improved methodologies.
• Mentor and guide Project Managers by sharing project management methodologies, delivery practices, and lessons learned.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Project Management experience covering the full project lifecycle.
• Proven experience successfully leading full-lifecycle Dynamics ERP implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, with a particular focus on Business Central.
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish productive relationships with clients and cross-functional project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, budgets, resources, schedules, risks, and competing priorities across complex projects.
• Experience working collaboratively with technical and functional stakeholders, including Solution Architects and implementation teams.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations, address escalations, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to project management standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to communicate project status and risks clearly.
