Upsender is hiring a consultative sales professional to join our Miami team in a fully remote capacity. This position is designed for someone who can understand a prospect's situation, uncover meaningful business needs, and guide the conversation toward the solution that makes the most sense.
Upsender offers software and managed services that help established brands improve customer engagement, strengthen retention, reconnect with existing audiences, build more effective automation, and increase revenue performance from customer relationships already in place.
What You'll Do
You will conduct remote sales conversations with business owners and marketing leaders by Zoom or phone. The goal is to understand how the prospect currently approaches growth, where opportunities or obstacles exist, and whether Upsender has an appropriate solution.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations with prospective customers
Ask diagnostic questions about products, systems, customer engagement, and revenue objectives
Recognize opportunities related to segmentation, automation, retention, reactivation, engagement, and monetization
Determine whether software, managed services, or a customized engagement is the best match
Present recommendations, pricing, and available service options clearly
Address questions and objections professionally without unnecessary pressure
Move qualified prospects toward a decision when there is a genuine fit
Follow up with prospects who require additional time
Keep pipeline information and sales records accurate
Provide useful feedback that can strengthen the sales process
Submit recorded calls for coaching and review
Apply coaching and feedback to improve future conversations
Backgrounds That May Be a Strong Fit
Candidates may come from B2B services, software, marketing, consulting, business development, account executive positions, remote closing, or other environments involving high-value consultative sales.
The strongest fit will be someone comfortable leading remote conversations, discovering the underlying business problem before presenting a solution, navigating objections, following up consistently, and taking personal responsibility for performance.
