We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri.
The Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing care to incarcerated patients, including conducting health assessments, administering medications and treatments, providing patient education, documenting care, and coordinating with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN works closely with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare services while incarcerated, participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.
Qualifications:
Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Associates Degree required
Specialty training in psychiatric nursing preferred
Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Corrections experience not required
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Days, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
