Part-Time & Full-Time

Men’s Grill Bartenders are responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and professional food and beverage service to Members and their guests. Bartenders must accurately take and fulfill orders, maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and create a welcoming environment through attentive and personable service.

Men’s Grill Bartenders may also be scheduled to work in Titleholders as needed and should be comfortable providing excellent service in both outlets.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Greet Members and guests and provide prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
Take, ring, prepare, and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club standards.
Maintain knowledge of food, beverage, specialty drink, and daily menu offerings.
Describe menu items and assist Members and guests with food and beverage selections.
Anticipate Member needs and provide personalized service throughout their visit.
Maintain accurate checks and follow Club procedures for payments and point-of-sale transactions.
Keep the bar and service areas clean, stocked, organized, and presentable.
Communicate and work effectively with fellow team members to ensure overall Member satisfaction.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude during high-volume periods and events.
Follow all Club policies, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending or food and beverage experience preferred.
Excellent time management, organizational, and self-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident, self-driven, adaptable, and willing to learn.
Ability to take direction and respond positively to feedback.
Genuine interest in interacting with people and providing exceptional hospitality.
Dependable and punctual with a commitment to scheduled shifts.

Schedule:

Typical shifts are 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., although schedules may vary based on events and Club needs. Open availability is preferred. Augusta Country Club is closed on Mondays.
