Medical Biller

We are seeking an organized, detail-driven Medical
Biller for a Remote role with our client. Medical Biller to maintain
monthly financial records, verify patient insurance details, and ensure timely
revenue processing. The Medical Biller processes claims and provider invoices
accurately and efficiently, and serves as a key link between patients,
healthcare providers, and insurance carriers.

Skills:

·        High school diploma or GED

·        Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a
firm commitment to patient privacy and data security  Exceptional attention to detail and
organizational skills

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills,
with the ability to convey information clearly and compassionately

·        Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft
Office (Excel and Word) and Google Workspace Preferred

·        1–2 years of medical billing experience

·        Experience with Epic, eClinicalWorks, or
comparable medical billing software

·        Familiarity with medical terminology

·        Comfort with standard office equipment,
including a 10-key calculator

·        CPB (AAPC) or CMRS (AMBA) certification

Responsibilities:

·        Key Responsibilities Insurance Verification.

·        Confirm patient coverage, eligibility for
benefits and procedures, and policy limitations prior to services being
rendered.

·        Claim Submission.

·        Prepare and submit monthly basic charge-entry
medical claims to insurance providers and government programs, in electronic or
paper format.

·        Accounts Receivable.

·        Follow up on unpaid, delayed, or denied claims,
and assist with appeals and resubmissions through resolution.

·        Monthly Reporting.

·        Compile monthly reimbursement data and provide
it to the medical provider via spreadsheet
