Mechanical Coordinator

Description

Primary (Owner, OG&E) project contact for ensuring EPC Contractor completeness of mechanical systems monitoring and coordinating with the OG&E Projects team. The Mechanical Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and reporting on all mechanical construction activities. This role supports the Owner by ensuring field execution aligns with scope, schedule, quality, and safety expectations—while also generating clear, accurate, and timely daily site reports using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard tools.

Coordinator takes photos of in-progress work for inclusion in the daily site log and storage in the Project SharePoint archive. The Mechanical Coordinator takes direction and supports the Project construction manager while supporting the overall project success goals driven by the Project Manager. The coordinator ensures contractor and personal safety in all work activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

EPC experience, 10+ years mechanical construction experience, power generation/heavy industrial background, P&ID interpretation, contractor oversight, quality inspections, commissioning support, advanced Excel, SharePoint, reporting, OSHA 10/30 preferred, gas turbine experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63.77 - $79.19/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
