Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Job Details: Job Location: Excela Protect - Charleston, SC, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: 8am - 5pm, Excela Protect is looking for an accomplished Mechanical Claims Adjuster to join our team. This position is remote-eligible; however, candidates must currently reside in one of the following approved states: AZ, CO, GA, LA, MI, NC, NY, OH, SC, TN, or TX.

What we offer:

Compensation: $45-55k (depending on Mechanical experience and certifications)
Schedule: Mon-Friday (8am-5pm)

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical background and experience as a mechanic or automotive service professional (Required).
Previous experience with claims administration.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Thorough knowledge of automotive repair, technical vehicle operations, components, and breakdowns.
Ability to handle customers in difficult situations.
Act as technical advisor to claims processors.
