As a Radiologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions through advanced imaging techniques. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you will contribute to patient-centered care and help enhance our overall service quality. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Analyze images and provide accurate interpretations to aid in patient treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and treatment options
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care
- Stay current with technological advancements in radiology
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients on imaging procedures and safety protocols
- Adhere to regulatory and safety standards in all imaging practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Radiology
- Experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous education and professional development
- Knowledge of imaging technology and procedures
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) + 12 weekends per year
No call requirement
Setting: Remote
Daily Volume: 65-75 RVUs
Case Types: Broad skillset, heavy outpatient volume
Duties: ED and inpatient coverage, including strokes
EMR: Epic
PACS: Intellispace
Dictation: Powerscribe
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
