Mathnasium of Converse is looking for an exceptional Math Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. This is a part-time role with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional instruction to students
- Positively interact with parents
- Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
- Tutor in-center, online (after at least 6 months of in-center), and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and tutoring practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best instruction possible.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2
- A passion for math and working with students
About Us
We have been open for almost nine years and have a great team of tutors. We typically employ 14-18 instructors so we are pretty small. This job looks great on your resume because of the focus on helping students. We also have several volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

We are highly specialized; we only teach math. Our program is for students in K2 through 8th grade. Like at a gym or health club, members pay a low monthly fee and can drop–in anytime.
Our goal is to significantly increase your child's math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance, while building confidence and forging a positive attitude toward the subject.
