Summary
The course assistant will support the instructor with tasks related to student learning, material retention, and assessments for MATH 110 and 111. They are expected to objectively assess student work and explain complex mathematical concepts.
Job Description
Student Worker - Course Assistant for MATH 110/111
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
- Assist Instructor with course-related tasks in MATH110 and MATH111 to support student learning.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Complete tasks related to student learning, material retention, assessment, etc. as directed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Completed MATH111 Calculus II with grade B+ or above. Math major/minor preferred.
Potential Future Career Benefit:
- Students will learn to objectively assess other people’s work and thoroughly explain complex ideas.

The Delaware Entrepreneurial Center at OWU is the nation’s first such collaboration among a small liberal arts university and the surrounding city and county.
This entrepreneurial endeavor is designed to ignite creativity!
