Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Materials Sourcing Assistant – Construction to support our construction projects by sourcing, pricing, and ordering materials.
This is a fast-paced role that plays a key part in keeping our jobs on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source construction materials across all trades (lumber, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Contact suppliers for pricing, availability, and lead times
- Compare pricing to ensure the best cost options
- Place orders and coordinate deliveries to job sites
- Track material orders and update the team on status
- Build relationships with suppliers in NJ, PA, and the surrounding areas
- Work closely with project managers and the field team
Requirements:
- Experience in construction, supply houses, or material sourcing is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills (phone + email)
- Ability to work fast and stay organized
- Familiar with vendors like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and local supply houses
- Problem solver who can find materials quickly when issues come up
This is a remote position.
