Job Details: Job Location: Killington Resort - Killington, VT, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal, Salary Range: $0.01Commission, Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Job Summary:

Become a part of the Killington Grand Spa Team that prides itself in superior service and guest experience. Assist with Killington Grand Spa guests' comfort in a courteous and professional manner while performing massage treatments. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

Perform chair massage, 25-, 50-, and 80-minute comprehensive Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Hot Stone massages, using professional draping techniques
Perform detailed verbal intake and consult with clients to determine massage type and products to best fit their needs
Actively listen to clients’ feedback during sessions and make adjustments to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
Create a calming and welcoming atmosphere for clients, ensuring their comfort and relaxation throughout the session
Maintain a clean and organized work area, sanitizing equipment and surfaces after each session
Communicate with clients to understand their concerns, provide guidance on aftercare, and recommend appropriate self-care practices
Consult with clients to determine specific areas of focus and preferences for pressure and intensity

 
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:

Must be certified from an accredited massage school/center with a minimum of 500 hours of education/training
Vermont Massage Therapy, Bodyworkers, and Touch Professionals license required
Previous experience in a spa preferred
Must be physically able to stand and perform massages for extended periods of time
Background check required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Requires exemplary customer service skills
Highly responsible and reliable
Must be able to work a flexible/non-traditional schedule, including weekends and holidays
