✍ Short Description:

We are looking for a Marketplace Manager to drive the day-to-day execution and performance optimization of marketplace operations across multiple e-commerce channels. This hands-on role will manage catalog and inventory health, merchandising, promotions, customer experience, and marketplace performance while coordinating closely with internal teams, external agencies, and retail partners. The role combines marketplace operations with performance analysis and cross-functional project management, requiring the ability to identify issues, analyze marketplace data, and turn insights into actionable improvements. A strong focus will be placed on maintaining product availability, optimizing performance, and supporting marketplace growth and expansion.

💼 Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day marketplace operations across Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Macy’s, SalonCentric, Shop App, and other marketplace channels, ensuring products remain listed, buyable, and aligned with brand standards.

• Monitor catalog health, product availability, inventory levels, and inventory syncs, proactively troubleshooting issues and coordinating with IT, Operations, and relevant teams.

• Manage marketplace merchandising and promotional activities in coordination with Marketing, Brand, external agencies, and retail partners.

• Monitor shop health and customer experience, collaborating with Customer Experience and Operations to address fulfillment and customer service issues.

• Track and analyze marketplace performance metrics including GMV, CVR, CTR, ROAS, Refund Rate, AOV, and Shop Rank to identify trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.

• Analyze content and sales performance, competitive insights, and customer sentiment to provide actionable recommendations to Marketing, Education, and Product Development teams.

• Coordinate marketplace initiatives, new account setups, and domestic and international marketplace expansion across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

• Test and evaluate new marketplace tools, features, and capabilities using a test-and-learn approach.

💡 Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or social commerce with direct operational experience.

• Experience with marketplace platforms, preferably Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central and TikTok Shop; experience with Walmart, Macy’s, Shop App, SalonCentric, or similar marketplaces is valuable.

• Experience with catalog management, product listings, inventory management, inventory syncs, product availability, and marketplace fulfillment workflows.

• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting on e-commerce performance metrics such as GMV, CVR, CTR, ROAS, Refund Rate, AOV, and Shop Rank.

• Experience applying performance insights to merchandising and promotional strategies and evaluating content and sales performance.

• Demonstrated experience managing retailer and/or external agency partnerships and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

• Strong project management experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and marketplace initiatives.

• Preferred experience with Shopify and prior experience in the beauty, CPG, or wellness industry.
