Marketing Project Manager (TEMP)

Job Details: Job Location: Legal Address - NAPA, CA, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: $40.00 - $50.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: Up to 25%, Job Category: Marketing, Folio Wine is seeking a Temporary Marketing Project Manager to provide project-based support to the Marketing department from October through December, during a period of team maternity leave coverage.

This temporary role will focus primarily on the execution and management of key marketing initiatives across Folio’s portfolio of wine brands. Responsibilities will include supporting the development and production of brand point-of-sale materials, managing and/or supporting brand and industry events, and assisting with day-to-day brand management projects and priorities.

The Marketing Project Manager will work closely with members of the Marketing team and cross-functional partners to help keep projects moving forward, manage timelines and deliverables, work directly with agencies and vendors, and support the successful execution of planned programs during this temporary assignment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, comfortable taking ownership of projects, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and capable of stepping into an active marketing environment and quickly contributing to established priorities and workstreams.

Manage and execute marketing projects across assigned brands, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and key milestones remain on track.
Lead the development and production of brand point-of-sale materials, sales tools, promotional assets, and other marketing collateral from briefing through final delivery.
Manage brand and industry events, tastings, trade programs, and promotional activations, including both small- and large-scale events.
Serve as a day-to-day project lead with agencies, vendors, suppliers, and internal partners to ensure programs are executed accurately, on time, and within approved scope.
Manage project timelines and budgets, identify potential issues or delays, and proactively communicate status and next steps to Marketing leadership and key stakeholders.
Support Brand Managers with day-to-day brand management priorities, including program execution, asset development, sales support materials, product information, and other assigned projects.
Manage the development and production of consumer and trade promotional programs, including coupons, retail materials, displays, and activation support tools.
Support the planning and execution of key seasonal, retail, on-premise, and trade marketing programs.
Maintain and update marketing materials, sales collateral, product information, vintage notes, and other brand assets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Manage updates to brand and marketing websites as needed, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure content remains current and accurate.
Coordinate the sourcing, production, and delivery of event materials, POS, samples, and other program needs in partnership with vendors, agencies, Sales, and Supply Chain.
Provide additional project-based marketing support as needed to help maintain continuity of priority initiatives during the temporary assignment.

Qualifications:  

3–5 years of relevant marketing experience, including prior wine brand management experience at an Associate Brand Manager level or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience managing brand marketing projects, programs, events, activations, and promotional initiatives from planning through execution.
Proven ability to take ownership of projects, manage timelines and deliverables, and drive work forward independently with limited supervision.
Experience managing the development and production of brand point-of-sale materials, sales collateral, promotional assets, and other marketing tools.
Strong understanding of brand management fundamentals, including program execution, agency and vendor management, sales support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with internal teams, suppliers, agencies, vendors, and other external partners.
Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commonly used project management and collaboration tools; familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
Ability to quickly onboard into an active portfolio of projects and provide continuity of work during the temporary assignment period.
