The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator supports Jordan Foster Construction’s marketing efforts by creating compelling content, strengthening our presence in the communities we serve, and helping tell the stories of our projects, people, and partnerships. This hands-on role combines content creation and graphic design with social media, public relations, and community engagement. The coordinator will stay connected to teams across the company to identify stories worth sharing, develop marketing materials and digital content, coordinate sponsorships and community events, and help ensure Jordan Foster is represented consistently and professionally both online and in the communities where we live and work.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop engaging marketing content and materials that support Jordan Foster Construction’s brand, business development efforts, recruiting, and community presence.
Design and produce professional marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications, including brochures, advertisements, presentations, event materials, project profiles, proposals, and qualifications packages.
Manage social media content planning, creation, scheduling, and performance tracking while proactively identifying opportunities to highlight Jordan Foster’s projects, people, and community involvement.
Build relationships with project teams, field personnel, and company leadership to identify project milestones, employee accomplishments, company news, and other stories for internal and external communications.
Draft and edit project stories, announcements, media releases, social media content, website copy, and other marketing communications consistent with Jordan Foster’s brand voice.
Coordinate photography and content capture at jobsites, company activities, and community events, including attending events and visiting projects as needed to gather content firsthand.
Coordinate and track sponsorships, donations, volunteer activities, and community engagement requests, including routing opportunities for approval and ensuring commitments and sponsorship benefits are fulfilled.
Coordinate Jordan Foster’s participation in sponsored events, industry activities, recruiting events, and volunteer initiatives, including registrations, branded materials, event logistics, and employee participation.
Promote internal community engagement opportunities, recruit team members to participate, and represent Jordan Foster at company, industry, and community events as needed.
Provide marketing and graphic design support for proposals, qualifications packages, interviews, award submissions, website content, company recognition, and other business development and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong writing, editing, proofreading, spelling, and grammar.
Strong graphic design and visual communication skills with proficiency in Adobe InDesign and working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content development, and best practices for managing a professional brand presence.
Creative and proactive, with the ability to identify compelling stories and translate project information, company news, and community involvement into engaging marketing content.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, events, deadlines, and requests while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with field personnel, project teams, leadership, and external partners.
Comfortable visiting active jobsites, attending company, industry, and community events, and interacting with a variety of audiences.
Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to seek out information, follow through with internal teams, and work with minimal direction.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.
Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant marketing, communications, or related experience preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite or comparable graphic design software, with demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
Demonstrated experience with social media management, content creation, and digital communications.
Construction, architecture, engineering, or professional services experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
Ability to work proactively in a physically demanding environment as well as an office environment.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer and scanner.
Able to wear personal protective equipment is required, including but not limited to steel-toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.
Must be able to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. 
Must be able to occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds at times.
May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis.
