Are you a current student who is looking for a marketing internship in 2027? If you have a passion for learning more about animals and feed in marketing, then you’ll enjoy this 10-12 week marketing internship. The marketing intern will be responsible for assisting with marketing and will report to the Feed Sales/Marketing Manager.
A successful marketing intern possesses a good understanding of the latest marketing
trends and techniques. They are enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and work ethics.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Participate in team planning meetings and contribute creative ideas
- Assist in planning and executing social media content across multiple platforms
- Develop digital marketing video content
- Assist in taking product pictures with the flexibility to visit farms during the internship
- Write and edit posts, emails, website updates, and promotional materials
- Help with planning consumer events and contests
- Monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
- Support the setup and coordination of trade shows, events, or promotions
Requirements
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to travel with sales and marketing teams
- Ability to lift 50 lb bags of feed if needed
- Hardworking dedicated outlook
- Willing to coordinate with other departments
- Knowledge of Adobe and Canva is a plus

What we do:
Our main business is manufacturing feed for livestock; mostly swine and dairy. During the 1990's, a relationship with Pig Improvement Company (PIC), a swine genetics company, grew such that today, we think of ourselves as a "supplier of genetics". Not only do we represent PIC but we work with producers to help them maximize their operations through knowledge gained on the farms we manage.
