Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern is a part-time position designed for a current college student interested in gaining hands-on marketing experience while continuing their education. Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, this role will support a variety of marketing activities while learning about Reader Precision Solutions (RPS), the manufacturing industry, and the markets we serve.

This is intended to be an ongoing part-time position rather than a short-term internship, providing the opportunity to develop skills, build industry knowledge, and take on greater responsibility over time.

Schedule: Approximately 15–25 hours per week with a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Assist with creating social media content, including photography, short-form video, graphics, and written captions.
• Edit and prepare videos, photos, and other digital content for use across marketing channels.
• Assist with creating and updating flyers, recruiting materials, signage, presentations, and other print or digital materials.
• Help coordinate and maintain branded apparel, promotional items, and related inventory.
• Organize and maintain marketing files, photos, videos, templates, and other digital assets.
• Support trade shows, career fairs, recruiting activities, community events, and other company events.
• Assist with preparing event materials, displays, promotional items, and event-related content.
• Monitor basic social media engagement and analytics.
• Contribute ideas for social media, video, recruiting, events, and other marketing initiatives.
• Support other marketing projects and activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Business, Media Production, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, or similar creative tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, organized, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with others.
