Role Description

At TEKsystems, marketing is about understanding the customer — and building awareness about how our services can satisfy their needs. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and versatile marketer who is hungry and motivated to help us advance our overall marketing efforts. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

Our ideal candidate supports all event team members by coordinating the logistics for TEKsystems and TEKsystems Global Services events including, but not limited to, developing and maintaining project plans, identifying/reserving/scheduling, preparing materials, requesting catering, overseeing event setup and take down and clean up with direction from the appropriate decision maker, hotel room block reservations, budget analysis and credit card reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: 

• Serve as a liaison with event vendor to oversee planning, production, and timely shipment of event materials (booths, banner stands, tablecloths, etc.) to regional offices to support local marketing and event initiatives. 

• Support other field office requests as-needed. 

• Maintain and file event planning and logistical documents. 

• Ship promos or event needs to event locations. 

• Maintain stock of promos in-house and check inventory on a needed basis. 

• Work with Branded Solutions team for employee Store(s) field requests and maintain stock for corporate and employee store. 

• Assist with follow-up for post-event tasks, including ROI, budget recaps and debriefs. 

• Submit billing payment requests for event invoices. 

• Reconcile budget and event credit card. 

• Organize event folders and frequently streamline or optimize processes. 

• Answer event inquiries and other online forms. 

• Order office material for department needs. 

• Schedule meetings, meeting rooms, AV, and food and beverage for team events or other meetings. 

• Scan or send contracts or other documents as needed. 

• Support any ad hoc assignments as necessary. 

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:

• Associate’s degree in related field required
• 0 - 2 years of experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with emphasis on quality control
• Excellent communication skills
• Successful at managing multiple projects at once
• High degree of flexibility
• Adequate knowledge and use of Microsoft Office

Special Requirements:

• In-person, reporting to Hanover, MD office 

• Travel required

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Compensation Band: $46,800-$70,200 annually
