Responsibilities

The Market Vice President Operations will lead a market with accountability for strategy, growth, direct P&L responsibility and overall goal execution that drives for business results. This role will lead SCA Health's GRIT region, which spans five states: Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

This is a remote role. Residency within the GRIT region is preferred but not required.

Key Roles:

• Clinical Quality and Patient Safety: Champion SCA Health's HRO Journey with responsibility to ensure leaders, teams, and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards.
• Operational Excellence: Lead market operations with a focus on standardization, efficiency, and performance improvement across all facilities.
• Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of leaders including regional vice presidents of operations, modeling and promoting SCA Health's Values.
• Relationship Management: Source and develop key relationships and growth opportunities with prospective customers including physicians, physician groups, health systems, health plans and Care Delivery Organizations. Manage C-suite level relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directs and controls activities through multiple levels including regional vice president level leaders who have overall operational responsibility for their assigned functions, geographic regions, and businesses.
• Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and approving changes to methods and practices.
• Work cross-functionally with all support services lanes including clinical, finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, D&I, Legal, Compliance, HR and all functions to gain alignment and collaborate on mutual goals.
• Makes strategic decisions based on market goals which are aligned with company goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree Preferred.

Years of Experience: The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare, coupled with 6+ years of leadership experience.

Preferred Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ASC, outpatient, surgical site, and multi-site healthcare settings.
