Manufacturing Maintenance Tech - 2nd Shift- 2pm-10:30pm

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team in Phoenix. A successful candidate will bring a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, eagerness to move into a higher-level position, and experience in a manufacturing plant. LOCATION: 2200 E. Riverview Dr., Phoenix, AZ

POSITION - Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing Plant
LOCATION - Phoenix, AZ
HOURLY RATE - $30-33/hr plus $2.50 shift differential
SHIFT - Monday-Friday - 2pm to 10:30pm (8-10 hour days)

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.

• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and routine part replacements

• Fabricate / repair simple metal projects

• Assist Technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controlled CNC’s, welders, and saws.

• Maintain data entry for required written and electronic equipment logs.

• Proper usage of personal protective equipment.

• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.

Qualifications:

• 5 years or more in a manufacturing plant - work experience required

• Certification from college or technical school preferred

• Demonstrable experience may be accepted in place of credentials

• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling

• Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics

• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently

• Computer literacy with the ability to learn new computer software programs

• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills

• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills Exceptional customer service skills

• Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
