MANUFACTURING ENGINEER INTERN-PART TIME

PRIMARY SUMMARY: Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for completing manufacturing projects as assigned by the LEAN Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Lean Manufacturing projects/Continuous Improvement

• Produces production metrics and creates display boards.

• Performs time studies to establish production standards

• Utilizes Solid Works to create drawings for tools, parts, and work stations, etc…

• Create SOP’s and Work Instructions

• Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience

•Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

An individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access and Computer assisted design (CAD) proficiency.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials

     - To be able to make proposals for improving working conditions and limiting environmental impact

Pay range: $25/Hr.
