Designs, integrates, and/or improves manufacturing systems or related processes to refine product designs to increase productivity and decrease costs.

Essential Position Requirements (include but are not limited to):

Evaluate, design, and coordinate installation of complex manufacturing projects for plants, including material handling, steam, air, and water systems, bead systems, etc.
Lead and Manage capital projects including equipment sourcing, project budgeting and timelines.
Support Safety thru active participation as a member of the Corporate Safety Committee.
Work to provide solutions to leadership when presented with manufacturing concerns.
Create new ways of producing products for new or current ventures by utilizing knowledge of products, expense information and company goals.

Develop alternative methods of making manufacturing practices more efficient and cost effective; look at space constraints, material requirements and current needs in order to increase productivity and increase profitability.
Supervise and provide guidance to Maintenance and Production Team members as needed
Develop methods and machinery for new secondary assembly operations. Begin with concepts, investigate, and locate capable sources, oversee engineering and building of machinery.*
Design and facilitate the construction of machine elements necessary for rebuilding or modification of existing equipment including structure, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics. Supervise and lead others on projects as required.
Support and develop Preventive Maintenance program to optimize manufacturing efficiency is thru standardization and lean Manufacturing principals.
Guide and assist in developing a Preventive Maintenance Program.  Serve as      technical resource for preventative maintenance programs.
Routinely visit Manufacturing plants to support Preventive Maintenance program and perform audits to validate compliance
Maintain all documentation regarding all project information with electrical system, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulics, steam systems, etc. *
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety best practices.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Perform other production duties as requested by supervisor.
Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve issues.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others.
Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns.
Maintain a working knowledge and be in compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and federal antitrust laws.
Adhere to Cellofoam North America Inc. company focus areas – safety, financial, customer, and people.
Keep Director of Building Products Engineering informed at all times of potential issues and concerns.

QualificationsEducation Requirements

4-year degree from an accredited institution. Preferably in industrial, mechanical, or electrical Engineering. (Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)

Position Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum of five years of job-related experience.
Proficient in the use of CAD and related software
Advanced knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance issues
Experience with project management and planning
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to read and develop' complex blueprints
Proficient mathematical skills
Must have experience managing complex projects
PMP Certification is a plus
