ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Medical Assembly Associate / Manufacturing Associate I / II position is a temporary-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you'll support daily manufacturing operations by helping ensure products are built safely, accurately, and on schedule. You'll work in a highly regulated, controlled manufacturing environment, assembling delicate medical device components while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). You may also be responsible for inspecting, testing, and packaging medical devices and related components to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Because our products are ultimately used to treat patients with vascular disease, quality is at the center of everything we do. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work. Reliable attendance and punctuality are equally important. While we provide comprehensive training, you must be able to read and follow work instructions in English using an iPad and consistently adhere to established processes, procedures, and quality standards.

During your first few weeks, you'll be introduced to a significant amount of new information. You'll learn medical device manufacturing terminology, become familiar with standard operating procedures, and work closely with an experienced trainer or mentor. Initially, you'll observe and practice alongside your mentor until you've demonstrated proficiency and become qualified on your assigned workstation. As your skills grow, you'll continue learning through ongoing coaching, feedback, and cross-training opportunities. You’re also encouraged to play an active role in your learning by asking questions and seeing clarification/elaboration. Many employees expand their capabilities by becoming qualified on additional stations and product lines over time.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Assemble medical device components using approved manufacturing methods, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations requiring fine motor skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
• Using microscopes, precision hand tools, and measuring instruments such as tweezers, pin gauges, and calipers, you'll perform detailed assembly work. You may also work with specialized equipment, including welders and soldering irons, as part of the manufacturing process.
• Maintain controlled environment integrity by using proper attire and adherence to controlled environment practices and procedures.
• Consistently adhere to Endologix Quality and Regulatory policies, and Endologix Core Values.
• Responsible for producing high quality work that adheres to our policies, procedures, and practices.
• Able to detect common defects within workstations and process appropriately as required.
• Capable of quick learning process and building competencies across stations with minimal errors.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Education:

•    High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications:

• Demonstrates proficient English reading, writing and spoken skills
• Basic math
• Strong manual dexterity a plus
• Commitment to consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Target hourly pay range: $20-24/hr depending on experience (DOE) and level of position
