The Manager, Step Further Education Market Development supports the Senior Director in driving the growth, adoption, and long-term success of the Education Freedom Tax Credit program through strategic sales, business development, partnership cultivation, and market expansion efforts. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new partnership opportunities, managing a robust sales pipeline, delivering presentations and pitches, and fostering strong relationships with schools, education providers, networks, and other key stakeholders. The Manager also oversees partner onboarding and engagement, supports fundraising and outreach initiatives, and serves as a trusted ambassador for the program. Through strong relationship management and strategic growth efforts, this position plays a critical role in expanding participation, strengthening partnerships, and advancing educational opportunities for students and families.

Location: Remote (South Florida) 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own business development and market expansion efforts to increase awareness, adoption, and participation in the Education Freedom Tax Credit program among schools, networks, strategic education partners and other key stakeholders.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new partnership opportunities that accelerate program growth, expand market reach, and drive long term participation in the Education Freedom Tax Credit program.
• Lead the full sales and partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, outreach, needs assessment, pitching, presentations, negotiation, onboarding, and long-term relationship management and partner retention.
• Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and value driven sales pitches to school leaders, boards, associations, scholarship families, donors, and other key education stakeholders, effectively communicating program benefits and partnership opportunities.
• Manage partner onboarding, platform implementation, and relationship management efforts, ensuring a seamless experience while identifying opportunities to deepen engagement, expand participation, and drive account growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising teams to develop campaigns, events, webinars, and outreach initiatives that generate leads, strengthen partnerships and advance organizational goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on the federal scholarship program, while representing the organization as a brand ambassador across the state.
• Monitor and analyze outreach performance, stakeholder feedback, and program adoption metrics to identify trends, optimize engagement strategies, improve processes, and drive continuous growth and participation.
• Manage project timelines, implementation deliverables, and operational priorities while ensuring all outreach, partnership and engagement activities remain compliant with applicable federal regulations, organizational policies, and program requirements

Qualifications:  

• Demonstrated success and a proven track record in professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, or industries. Military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements.

•  5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, market development, nonprofit management, education programs, public policy, stakeholder engagement, or related fields, with a demonstrated track record of building strategic relationships, driving growth, and achieving organizational objectives.

You’ll Stand Out If You Have:  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Policy, Education, Nonprofit Administration, Communications, or related field.
• Experience with education choice programs, scholarship administration, tax credit initiatives, or education advocacy.
• Experience managing external partnerships and community engagement programs.
• Experience managing projects and cross-functional initiatives.
