Job Summary

The Practice Manager – Identity is a leadership role responsible for managing a team of consultants and driving the successful delivery of Identity-focused professional services. This position oversees engagements related to Privileged Access Management (PAM), Cloud Identity, Endpoint Identity, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and related identity security capabilities. The Practice Manager balances people leadership, delivery governance, client engagement, technical credibility, and business development to ensure the practice consistently delivers measurable value.

As the Practice Manager for Identity, you will lead a team of experienced consultants, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality delivery of Identity solutions. You will define methodologies, oversee project execution, and contribute to business development efforts. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of Identity solutions, and the ability to connect market demand with scalable service offerings.

Role Description

• Lead and manage the Identity consulting team, including resource allocation, performance management, and professional development.

• Oversee delivery of Identity engagements, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on Identity and access management strategies.

• Establish delivery standards, methodologies, accelerators, and best practices across all Identity service offerings.

• Drive practice growth through pre-sales support, proposal development, and thought leadership.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align Identity offerings with organizational goals and market trends.

Skill Level Requirements

• The expertise in leveraging cloud-based platforms and services to build, deploy, and manage applications and data on the internet. - Expert

• Proficiency in working with and understanding security solutions from leading vendors such as Okta, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto, Proofpoint, CyberArk, SailPoint, Fastly, FireEye, and Fortinet. - Expert

• The ability to define, design, build, and maintain robust systems and solutions by leveraging systems and infrastructure effectively. - Expert

• Ability to oversee and direct projects to completion, ensuring goals are met, resources are utilized efficiently, and stakeholders are satisfied. - Expert

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline will be considered.

• Hands on delivery leadership experience with enterprise identity platforms: 10+ years in Identity technologies, with at least 5 years in a practice management, delivery management, or comparable role.

• Broad knowledge of Identity security domains, including IAM, PAM, authentication, federation, directory services, identity lifecycle management, access governance, and cloud identity.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for partner or customer events as required

• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent.  Additionally, the ideal candidate will hold certifications with CyberArk, Okta, or CrowdStrike.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $225,000 - $300,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
