Manager Analytics & Insights

The Manager Analytics & Insights will be responsible for analyzing data related to fleet management, ancillary product engagement, customer lifetime management, and operations to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

What You’ll Do:

· Support data initiatives in the rental cart industry by providing actionable insights that enhance fleet management, optimize pricing strategies, improve customer experiences, and drive operation efficiency.

· Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that provide insights to key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.

· Use data to understand customer behavior and preferences, identifying areas to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

· Work with operations teams to identify and implement opportunities for process

improvements and cost reductions.

· Assist in analyzing market trends and customer demand to support growth and fleet strategies that maximize profit.

· Collaborate with the Fleet Management team to optimize vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and acquisition strategies through data-driven insights.

· Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Finance to provide analytical support and ensure alignment with business goals.

· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis, promoting best practices in data management.

· Work closely with the Director of Analytics and Insights to execute the analytics strategy and mentor junior analysts in the team.

· Position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

What We’re Looking For:

· A bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in data science, statistics, business analytics or related field and 5 years of experience as a Manager Analytics & Insights or related position performing data analysis, business intelligence, and model building, within the rental car industry or the travel sector. In the alternative, Hertz will accept a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 3 years of experience.

· Experience with data analysis and modeling tools - Data analysis and modeling tools -- SQL, Python, Excel and R.

· Experience with Data visualization platforms -- Tableau or Power BI.

· Experience using statistical software to analyze data trends.

· Experience working within PROS revenue management system.
