Maintenance Technician I

Job Summary:  

Ensure that all depot equipment is kept in good running shape and that preventative maintenance is completed and tracked.  

Essential Duties:  

• Complete all preventative maintenance on equipment. 
• Identify any improperly functioning equipment and repair. 
• Complete maintenance work orders in timely manner, keeping records of all work done. 
• Keep accurate inventories of supplies and spare parts needed for plant operations. 
• Clean or report any contamination or potential food safety issues for customers. 
• In the event of an emergency, quickly respond by notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Understand and comply with all company rules and regulations of lockout tagout policy.
• Follow all company policies for PPE. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Learn, understand, and adhere to all PECO safety policies and procedures for the depot as well as for your role.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Basics
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. 0-2 Years’ Experience
  3. Part or Full Time (Hourly)
  4. No Travel
  5. Must work with someone with experience…
• Requirements
  1. Basic mechanical aptitude
  2. Basic fabrication and repair skills
     • Weld, Drill, Cut, Fasten, Etc.
  3. Basic machine maintenance/mechanical skills
     • Lock Out / Tag Out
     • Identify and replace worn parts.
     • Identify adjustment points.
     • Grease bearings.
     • Change oil.
     • Flow control adjustment.
     • Pressure regulator adjustment.
     • Other mechanical adjustments.

Physical Requirements:  

• Employee will need to be able to lift 65lbs
• Exposure to fumes from paint

Work Conditions: 

• Work is performed in a warehouse environment
