Maintenance Technician

Job Details: Job Location: Quail Hollow One Apartments - Sonora, CA, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, For over 40 years, Newport Pacific has been a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management. We are currently looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician for a 252 Apartment Complex located in Sonora, California.

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of general maintenance tasks that require strong troubleshooting skills and proficient knowledge of:

Building and facility maintenance.
Plumbing and electrical systems.
Submeter utility systems and meter reading (gas, electric and water).
Groundskeeping and landscape.
Swimming pool maintenance.
General carpentry.

Qualifications: Desired skills and experience:

Skilled in operating various hand tools, landscaping equipment, general maintenance equipment, and safety equipment.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Available to respond to occasional urgent maintenance issues outside of normal business hours.
1 year of general maintenance experience (property management experience a plus)
