Maintenance Helper | Weekend Part-Time

Looking for a great weekend opportunity? Join our team as a Maintenance Helper and play an important role in keeping our community running smoothly!

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 16 hours per week, 

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with general maintenance and upkeep around the community
• Help support daily facility needs and ensure a clean, safe environment
• Drive a box truck to assist with laundry transportation

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable and team-oriented
• Willing to assist with a variety of maintenance tasks
• Clean driving record required for box truck operation
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to the position’s requirement to operate a box truck.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

* Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
* Changes filters on HVAC equipment
* Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
* Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence
Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Posted Salary Range

USD $14.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr.
