Requirements

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager. 
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, hardware, and other facility repairs within the scope of the position.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for maintenance issues. 
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks. 
• Respond to employee facility and maintenance requests as assigned. 
• Assist with installation, repair, and replacement of doors, locks, hardware, fixtures, shelving, furniture, and other building components. 
• Assist with maintaining company access-control equipment, door hardware, gates, and related systems. 
• Help troubleshoot facility equipment and building systems, and assist with determining when outside contractors are required. 
• Assist outside contractors and service technicians while they are working on company property. 
• Move, assemble, install, and relocate furniture, equipment, supplies, and other company property. 
• Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance supplies, and work areas in an organized and serviceable condition. 
• Assist with inventory and restocking of the facility and maintenance supplies. 
• Perform exterior property maintenance and minor repairs as needed.

Job Type: Contractor (1099 Independent Contractor)

This position is offered on a contract basis as a 1099 independent contractor. As such, the successful applicant will be responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and other obligations in accordance with federal and state laws. Please note, this is not an employee role, and there are no employee benefits (such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement benefits) associated with this position.
