🛠️ What You'll Be Doing

Responding to and completing resident work orders
Performing general building repairs and maintenance
Drywall repair and patching
Interior and exterior painting
Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
Door, lock, and hardware repairs
Preventive maintenance throughout the community
Apartment turns and move-in preparations
Carpentry and general handyman repairs
Facility inspections
Common area maintenance
Grounds and exterior upkeep as assigned
Assisting with special projects and renovations
Responding to maintenance emergencies when necessary

This position requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, completing a high volume of work orders, and providing excellent customer service to residents.

📞 On-Call Rotation

This position participates in our Maintenance On-Call Program.

Maintenance team members rotate on-call responsibilities, which generally results in being on call for approximately one week per month.

Candidates must be willing and able to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when assigned to the rotation schedule.

Qualifications: ⭐ Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following environments is highly desirable:

Senior Living Communities
Apartment Communities
Assisted Living Facilities
Independent Living Communities
Skilled Nursing Facilities
Hotels and Hospitality
Commercial Facilities
Healthcare Facilities
Multifamily Housing

Additional experience is a plus:

Drywall repair and finishing
Interior painting
Plumbing repairs
Electrical troubleshooting
Carpentry
Flooring repairs
Appliance repair
Lock and hardware repairs
HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
Preventive maintenance programs

Experience working in a large community, campus environment, apartment community, healthcare facility, or similarly sized property is highly preferred.

📋 Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage a high volume of work orders
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
Ability to participate in the on-call rotation
