Maintenance Associate, Part-time

Job Title: Maintenance, Part-time  (25 hrs./wk.)

Reports to: Business Manager/Administrator

Classification: Hourly/Non-exempt  

Overview 

St Agnes Parish in Naples is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate to assist with general maintenance for parish events and weekend Masses. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Responsible for light cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds as needed. 
• Set up for schedule events and meetings.
• Adhere to proper cleaning methods, storage, and proper care of equipment and supplies. 
• General maintenance including changing light bulbs, cleaning, re-stocking bathrooms if need arises, and minor repairs. 
• Lockdown and opening facilities and/or gates for parish events.
• Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures by following local, state, and OSHA regulations. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.  
• Must have basic maintenance skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Self-motivated individual able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, twist, push, pull as needed throughout shift. 
• Must be available to work on weekends when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOV assigned post-offer physical exam.
