Maintenance Associate

Job Details: Job Location: RB BETHEL - Bethel, PA, Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00Hourly, The Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the warehouse facility and its equipment. This position performs preventive maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and general facility upkeep. The Maintenance Associate works closely with warehouse leadership and operations employees to minimize equipment downtime and maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3pm 

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/ hr based on skill level

Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment, facility systems, and building components.
Inspect equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or potential equipment failures.
Troubleshoot and complete basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility repairs.
Assist with maintaining conveyors, dock equipment, doors, lighting, racking, material-handling equipment, and other warehouse systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment issues to reduce operational downtime.
Escalate complex repairs or safety concerns to management or an approved outside service provider.
Perform minor repairs and replace worn or damaged parts when qualified and authorized.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, parts used, and completed work orders.
Assist with coordinating and monitoring contractors or vendors performing facility repairs.
Maintain tools, parts, supplies, and maintenance work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all applicable company, OSHA, and facility safety requirements.
Use required personal protective equipment and follow safe work practices at all times.
Support housekeeping, sanitation, snow removal, and other facility-related activities as needed.
Communicate equipment conditions, completed repairs, and outstanding maintenance needs to appropriate team members.
Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing facility, or similar environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building-maintenance practices.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment.
Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and follow repair instructions.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills and the ability to complete electronic or written maintenance records.
Forklift, aerial-lift, or other equipment certification preferred or the ability to become certified.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, or overtime, based on operational needs.
